Introductory Archery Class

 

 The next class has been scheduled for May 24th and May 26th, 2012.

The course will consist of two sessions. The first session (May 24th) will be used to introduce different types of archery equipment including both compound bows and traditional bows.   Topics will include how to determine the correct draw length for an archer, the proper stance and basic shooting form. We will discuss the different types of archery that can be shot from 3d to recreational archery. The classroom session will be held at the Tallahassee Archery Center and begins at 6:00pm and will last approximately 1.5 hours.

Then on Saturday May26th we will head to the Tallahassee Bowhunters Range and learn to shoot both compound bows and traditional bows (recurves and long bows). The range session will begin at 8:30am and will last approximately 2-3 hours.

This is a great way to see if archery is for you. The cost of the course is only $20 and includes all the equipment.
